IT'S QUAINT . EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS . 75% REPEAT VISITORS . FIRE PITS . COFFEE HUT . RURAL & RELAXING!
Rural Relaxing is a quaint, rural campsite on the edge of one of the UK's prettiest villages - "Costwolds without the crowds" We have been running since 2016 and welcome repeat visitors year after year, if you want a quaint, unspoilt site then we are probably suitable for you. We have 6 glamping units and of course, you are welcome to bring your own tents or campervans (caravans depending on their size). All pitches are on a grassy field, neighbours are the sheep! There are excellent shower & loo facilities (upgraded in 2023) & the added treats available on a Saturday & Sunday mornings where our coffee hut serves Lavazza coffee, teas, croissants & rustic bacon rolls
We accept tents and small motorhomes (under 6m in length), & caravans.
DOGS - Well behaved dogs are welcome on site but regret, not in glamping units, (dogs must be on leads when on site at all times & must never be off the lead and walked off site, please check the T&C's for breeds).
FIRE PITS & BBQ's OFF THE GROUND WITH ASH DAMPENED DOWN IMMEDIATELY AFTER COOKING
Not much disturbs the peace here in Medbourne apart from the babbling brook or blackbird song, the Nevill Arms is back open and serving lovely gastro food. For pub grub, seek out The Fox at Hallaton.
The village shop & Post Office sells essential items including home baked bread, milk, eggs, bacon, sausages, newspapers etc. and you are assured of a warm welcome here.
The village boasts much historical architecture too and a walk round is worth it, there are some lovely walks (seek out the Blaston track, a field road from Medbourne to Blaston, perfect for dog walking & is a great “off road” cycle track, or walk the hill up to Nevill Holt and be inspired with the incredible views over the valley. It's a special place with much to offer & you won't be disappointed.
