It is a condition of booking that you agree to the terms below. By booking either directly with Rural Relaxing, or by an agent, you accept these terms and conditions. These terms maybe amended at any time without prior notice.
Arrival time from 1pm unless by prior arrangement. Departure by 12 noon on day of departure, extended stays are welcome and charged at £10 until 4pm, this must be arranged with the site owner and is dependent on availability.
No refunds given. (Although we have taken many preventative measures we have no complete control over the weather and cancellation due to bad weather is not accepted)
Please, no noisy generators or the running of car engines at any time. Electric hook up is available when pre-booked & subject to availability.
The proprietors reserve the right not to allow entry onto the site of any person or persons.
Please consider other guests and make minimal noise late at night and early mornings. Campsite quietness policy exists between 11pm & 7am no music during this period.
FIRES: Take care whilst using barbecues and fire pits & never when under the influence of alcohol, equipment is dangerous and must not be used by anyone in the party under 18. Strictly NO FIRES ON THE GRASS – THEY MUST BE PLACED ON A FIRE PROOF PLATE/BRICKS/TILES (available in the log store). You are able to use the fire pits & supplied barbeque – at your own risk providing raised off the grass.
Please watch embers & the wind, any smoke going into the path of others you will be asked to put out the fire, never put a fire in your tent or accommodation, even when the fire is out, harmful gasses are still present. Damage to burnt grass will be charged for. The client takes responsibility and will indemnify Rural Relaxing against any injuries or damage whilst using facilities & equipment.
FIRE ASH TO BE PLACED IN THE DESIGNATED FIRE BIN
No fires & no smoking OR vaping inside any of the buildings, bell tents, safari tents or in the immediate vicinity.
Parents are responsible for their children’s’ behaviour & safety at all times. They must not run around after 11pm or before 7am.
Friendly dogs on leads are most welcome, pet fouling must be cleaned, wrapped, and placed in bins, and dogs are always to be walked off site.
Any owners of pets becoming a nuisance will be asked to leave the site. Dogs which are listed as a breed featured on the dangerous dog act 1991 are not permitted.
As the ground is a field it is uneven in places, please take care at all times when walking around. The border fencing is barbed wire & hawthorn, it’s prickly, watch out for nettles & other natural greenery which may be prickly, we are not responsible for trips/falls/accidents of any kind.
Take care getting on and off the bell tent decks, the steps are narrow. The decked areas & concrete areas are slippery when wet or when icy, so please take extra care and watch your step on the verandahs.
We cannot accept any responsibility for any personal injury, loss or damage to any property including vehicles.
The proprietors reserve the right to re-let a pitch or accommodation after midnight on the stated day of arrival
If cancellation by us, due to exceptional circumstances such as fire, ill health, we will refund your full payment. NO compensation will be paid.
Any guest or visitor failing to comply with the above conditions may be asked to leave the site and NO refunds will be given.
Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for vehicles getting on and off the site, consider ground for motorhomes and caravans in case ground is wet, it is better not to pitch than to get stuck.
DATA and personal details are only retained for contact purposes to do with your booking before your arrival & during your stay. We will only email you offers if you have agreed to subscribe to such information. Please let us know if you prefer not to have contact from us.
If you have an electric pitch, please note our electric is fitted with 16amp connections. Please ensure your items are tested to avoid any tripping, we are not responsible for the tripping if your items are not tested. Older vehicles, vintage vans, must switch off power when leaving the vehicle unattended at all times
