MEDBOURNE, One of Leicestershire's prettiest villages

Medbourne has a thriving local community and benefits from a village shop with post office, a great pub with excellent food and wine and a cafe.  A fine parish church at the village centre, a village hall and a sports club and a cricket ground and football pitch. There are some delightful country walks in the area and more comprehensive amenities in the nearby towns of Market Harborough, Uppingham, Stamford, Oakham & Rutland Water.

Rural Relaxing is within walking distance to the Village Shop and Post Office which provides all the daily essentials you would expect, including a daily delivery of bread from the local bakery, homemade cakes, biscuits and newspapers.

Walk or Cycle...

There is much historical architecture and some lovely walks (seek out the Blaston track, a field road from Medbourne to Blaston, perfect for dog walking & is a great “off road” cycle track).  Don't forget to include our very own ‘Hollow’ conservation area to the rear of the tennis courts.

The Blaston track runs from the Uppingham Road to Blaston and offers safe cycling for younger members of the family.

A walk to Nevill Holt is a must - to view the splendour of the valley from the top!
